Nestled in the woodland hills outside of Santa Rosa, Ca., is Safari West a 400-acre wildlife reserve with over 900 animals from 90 diverse species. A place for adventure and discovery, Safari West aims to educate and to inspire guests concerning wildlife and environmental conservation as well as animal biology. Its mission is to ignite wonder and compassion while also getting up close and personal with its many wild animals.Â

-Welcome guests/make guests feel comfortable and noticed.
-Entertain and engage.
-Lead three hour tours across nearly 400 acres in all types of weather (rain/cold/heat).
-Drive manual transmission military 1940s-1960s Dodge Power Wagons.
-Open/close U.S.D.A. double safety gates.
-Ensure guest and animal safety/enjoyment regarding people and 2000+ lbs. animals such as Cape Buffalo, Eland, Zebra, Giraffe, Roan, and more.
-Inspire guest's curiosity.
-Provide unscripted tailored tours that include zoology, ecology, anthropology, conservation, and much more in reference to guest's interests as well as my own.
-Inform guest about the itinerary and safety procedures for each tour.
-Gather and maintain truck for each tour.
