The oldest known art in Sulawesi, Indonesia, and El Castillo, Spain, date back to about 40,000 years ago. Art communicates the history of humankind. We know of the Babylonians, ancient Egyptians, Mesoamericans, and beyond because of art. Human accomplishments discern from cultural artifacts. Art measures cultural expression and is the identifier of cultural sophistication - think Greek Parthenon, Roman Colosseum, and even the sky scrapers of New York. Art enlightens humanity, it exchanges knowledge, and provokes societal and political change. Creativity is essential to life and is why I am an artist.
As soon as I could hold a Crayon I began creating art. I have not stopped since. I am experienced in pencil, charcoal, pen, calligraphy, acrylic paint, printing, woodblock printing, metal etching, beadwork, rock painting, face painting, visual and performing arts, portrait and figure drawing, graphic design, digital art, photoshop, art history, beadwork, and more.
